Yudhvir Singh is a cricket player originally from India. He was born on September 13th, 1997. Currently, he is a member of the Jammu and Kashmir domestic cricket team as well as the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League. He made his debut in the Twenty20 format on November 12, 2019, while playing for Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the 2019–20 season. During the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy, which took place on December 17, 2019, he made his debut in the first-class format for Hyderabad.
Before the 2021 Indian Premier League season began, the Mumbai Indians participated in the Indian Premier League auction in February 2021 and purchased Singh. His acquisition by the Lucknow Super Giants came about as a result of the Indian Premier League auction that took place in December 2022, before the 2023 season of the league. During his first game for LSG, which took place on April 15, 2023, he bowled a stint that was economical and took two wickets.
Yudhvir Singh, who is originally from Jammu and Kashmir, has competed on the Indian domestic circuit for both his home state and Hyderabad. As of right now, he has taken three wickets in four first-class matches, thirteen wickets in eight list-A matches, and six wickets in fifteen Twenty20 matches. Yudhvir Singh will be eager to put out similar efforts for the KL Rahul-led team in the next games of the league if he is given opportunities in the future. This is because he had a spectacular performance against Punjab Kings during the Indian Premier League 2023.
The debutant bowled three overs against the Punjab Kings, who were headed by Sam Curran, and claimed two wickets for a total of only 19 runs. This meant that Lucknow got off to the best possible start with the ball. He quickly dismissed Prabhsimran Singh for four runs and sent Atharva Taide packing with a duck. He also dismissed Prabhsimran Singh. Lucknow was able to establish early pressure on their opponents with the assistance of his new-ball spell.

On the other side, Punjab Kings were finally successful in chasing the goal with two wickets in their possession. The youthful Yudhvir most clearly shows that he has the capabilities necessary to play on the most prestigious stage, even though he was unsuccessful. Yudhvir Singh Charak, a bowler for the Lucknow Super Giants, was brought in as a replacement for Mohsin Khan, who had suffered a concussion, during the Indian Premier League 2024 match that his team played against the Kolkata Knight Riders in Lucknow on Sunday.
In the history of the tournament, Yudhvir was just the second person to ever be replaced for a concussion. The first player to do so was Vishnu Vinod, who had previously filled in for Ishan Kishan for Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier of the previous year. During the 12th over, Mohsin was fielding at short third man when he sustained a head injury. Before Yudhvir replaced him in the 16th over, Mohsin stepped off the field to get medical care.
The right-arm pacer hit on his first delivery, which resulted in Angkrish Raghuvanshi caught behind on 32.
Yudhvir finished with stats of one for 24 in the two overs, even though he only delivered seven runs in the first over he bowled. In the second over, he went for seventeen runs. KKR achieved the highest total in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, with 235 runs for six in their 20 overs.
When Yudhvir Singh Charak, a pacer for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), came on for Mohsin Khan during his team’s match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Lucknow on Sunday, he became just the second concussion substitution in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). At an earlier point in time, Sunil Narine smashed 81 runs off of 39 balls, which laid the groundwork for KKR to produce a formidable total.

His partnership with Phil Salt (32) for the first wicket resulted in a 61-run partnership between the two of them. By the time KKR reached 235/6 from 20 overs, Rinku Singh had scored 16 runs off of 11 balls, Shreyas Iyer had scored 23 runs off of 15 balls, and Ramandeep Singh had collected 25 runs off of six balls, hitting one four and three sixes during the innings.
The left-arm bowler suffered an injury while trying to make a catch off of Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling during the 12th over of the current match between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). While fielding at the short third-man area, the left-arm pacer threw himself full length only, but he was unable to maintain his grip on the catch the whole time.
Mohsin ended up hitting his head on the ground during the follow-through, and he was eventually removed from the field of play. After that, LSG decided to replace the left-arm pacer with Yudhvir, who is 26 years old and originates from Jammu. Yudhvir was playing his fourth Indian Premier League match. At the beginning of the season, the speedster took his maiden wicket by removing Angkrish Raghuvanshi from the game. This was his first wicket of the year.
