By the time the campaign was complete, he had taken eight wickets from a total of eleven games, which made him the source of much conversation. He could handle the situation that drew the attention of the audience, not his wickets. As a result of his failure to sell in the 2017 auctions, Sundar brought in an astounding 3.2 crore rupees during the 2018 players’ bid.
Perhaps the young person was impacted by the rise in prices, or perhaps it was the dearth of opportunities that affected them. Sundar’s bowling suffered a battering as a consequence of Virat Kohli’s led Royal Challengers’ shifting and chopping in the lineup. Sundar was denied a regular run in the playing XI, which resulted in Sundar’s absence from the playing XI. Sundar was initially only selected for India’s 2020-21 tour of Australia as a net bowler. However, due to numerous injuries sustained by fellow bowlers and the inability of India to fly in replacements at short notice due to quarantine restrictions that were in effect during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This partnership was a significant factor in India’s ultimate triumph in the test match. As a result of Sundar’s first-ever fifty in a test match, he became just the third Indian player to ever get a fifty in his first test match in Australia. All-rounder Washington Sundar, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), will not be able to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) that will take place at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday (April 25).

Jaydev Unadkat has taken Sundar’s position in the eleventh spot. The only alteration that took place was because Sundar was unable to produce with the ball for SRH in their matches against Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC). In his first two matches of the Indian Premier League 2024, he only managed to take one wicket. When the off-spinner was facing DC in the previous game, Jake Fraser-McGurk smacked him for thirty runs off of an over.
Throughout the current season, Unadkat has taken four wickets for Sunrisers in a total of five matches. The bowler with the left arm, on the other hand, has bowled at an economy rate of 11.35. On the other hand, the 32-year-old has taken 14 wickets in eight Indian Premier League games played in Hyderabad. Not only that, but he has taken eight wickets in 12 matches versus RCB.Throughout his athletic career, Washington Sundar has had a trip that is very comparable to that of Jack Wilshere, an English football player.
Both made their first appearance for the club when they were 16 years old, and they made their debut for the international team at the same time, at the end of their 17th year. That is not the only comparative example. For a very long time, Wilshere was known to have a talent that would transcend generations. There are no exceptions in Washington. There is another thing that they have in common, and that is the fact that injuries have followed them both.
