Varun Aaron, a former Indian pacer and pundit, has expressed his thoughts on the forthcoming Indian Premier League 2024 eliminator between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR), which will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 22.
RCB’s incredible string of six straight victories in the current Indian Premier League 2024 has substantially improved the team’s confidence moving into the playoffs, according to Aaron, who underlined the impact of this streak. It was emphasized by him that this winning momentum not only boosted Virat Kohli’s confidence but also energized the entire RCB camp. On the other hand, the former Rajasthan pacer pointed out that the Sanju Samson-led RR enters the IPL 2024 Playoffs with a lot of uncertainties and doubts, as they have lost four games in a row in the overall tournament.
As a result of the rain that occurred in Guwahati on May 19, they were unable to play their last league game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which they had hoped would help them gain momentum.
Considering the present performance of RCB and the positive momentum they are experiencing, Aaron has a strong preference for his former Bengaluru-based organization to emerge victorious in the IPL 2024 Eliminator match against the RR in Chennai. In addition, he forecasted that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Royal Challengers (RR) will have a highly fascinating matchup owing to the different mentalities of both teams.

Varun Aaron has decided to play his last red-ball game, which is now taking place in the Ranji Trophy match between Jharkhand and Rajasthan. Aaron, who is 34 years old, will continue to play white-ball cricket for the time being. Before the completion of the next domestic season, he will decide on his future in those forms. This will be the last game of the Ranji season for Jharkhand, who are no longer in contention for a position in the quarterfinals after their elimination from the competition.
His first-class debut came in 2008 when he played Jammu and Kashmir in a Ranji Trophy Plate League match in Ranchi. He was successful in taking two wickets in each innings of the match. After a month had passed, he again made his debut in a test match, this time against the West Indies at the same location.
