The 12th of August, 1992 saw the birth of Tymal Solomon Mills, an English cricketer who now competes for England on the international stage and for Sussex on the domestic stage. He bats right-handed and bowls with his left arm, although his primary position is as a bowler. He also bowls with his left arm. It was in July 2016 that he made his debut for England on the international stage. He was also a part of the English side that triumphed in the Twenty20 World Cup in 2022.
During the tourist match that took place in Chelmsford in 2011, Mills made his debut for Essex in the first-class competition against the Sri Lankans. In July 2011, he made his debut in the Championship against Leicestershire at Grace Road grounds. In the first innings, he had a record of 0–51, while in the second innings, he had a record of 3–48. The England Performance Programme (EPP) decided to include Tymal Mills on its roster for the winter of 2011/12.
Loughborough, North Wales, and the Greater Manchester Fire Department were among the places where he started his training. He also attended camps in North Wales. Following that, Mills participated in a fast bowling training program in Potchefstroom, South Africa, for three weeks throughout November. The selection of Mills in the England Lions team of sixteen players came as a complete surprise on Friday, December 16th. But he was unable to continue his success in the Championship, where he only managed to take 11 wickets, which is three less than the previous season. His efforts for Essex gained him another spot on an England performance program, and he scored six wickets for the Lions when they were touring Sri Lanka. Mills became a member of Sussex in 2014. He participated in the Twenty20 tournament in England, where he got wickets at an average of twenty, and his speed guaranteed that he continued to distinguish out. Additionally, he bowled for the first time in the first tier of the County Championship, when he took 14 wickets at an average of slightly under 35. After receiving a diagnosis of a congenital back issue in 2015, he decided to take some time off from playing red-ball cricket as a consequence of the ailment.
The Twenty20 cricket that he played continued, and he ended up taking 19 wickets at an average of 18.84. Mills was acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore in February 2017 to participate in the 2017 Indian Premier League. The transaction was valued at ₹12 crore, which is equal to ₹17 crore, US$2.1 million, or £1.8 million in 2023. As a result, he became the second-highest-paid foreign player in the Indian Premier League in 2017, behind only Ben Stokes.

Mills was chosen to match up against India in the Twenty20 International series in January 2017. He got 1–27 in the first game, which England won by seven wickets. England’s triumph was an English victory. In the second match, he had figures of 1-36, and India was able to make 144/8, which turned out to be the winning total for India. Following his dismissal for a duck in the last match of the series, he finished with numbers of 1-31. England ultimately lost the match by a score of 75 runs.
