The Indian international cricketer Tilak Varma was born on November 8, 2002. He is a left-handed batsman and a part-time off-spin bowler. Varma is a member of the Indian national cricket team. In a match against the West Indies on August 3, 2023, he made his debut for India in an international competition. In domestic cricket, he is a member of the Hyderabad team, while in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he is a member of the Mumbai Indians. The coach Salim Bayash saw Tilak Varma playing tennis ball cricket when he was 11 years old. Tilak Varma had established an early interest in cricket. During his time at the Legal Cricket Academy in Lingampally, Bayash took him under his wing and provided him with training. Up until the time when Varma’s family moved closer to the academy, Bayash would use his scooter to transport Varma to and from his school. In the competition, he played seven matches and scored 215 runs with a strike rate of 147.26 percentage points. On February 28, 2019, he made his debut for Hyderabad in the Twenty20 competition, which was part of the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. On September 28, 2019, he made his debut in the List A competition for Hyderabad, which was part of the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
