Suyash S. Prabhudessai is a cricketer from Goa, India. He was born on December 6, 1997, and now plays for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He also belongs to the Goa team, which competes in domestic matches. On February 28, 2017, he made his debut for Goa in the List A competition that was part of the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He made his debut for Goa in the Ranji Trophy for the 2018–19 season on November 20, 2018, making his first-class debut. On February 22, 2019, he made his debut for Goa in the Twenty20 competition, which was part of the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In February of 2021, the Royal Challengers Bangalore made a purchase of Prabhudessai via the Indian Premier League auction that took place before the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League.
In February of 2022, the Royal Challengers Bangalore won the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League competition and purchased him as a player. As a result of his performance in all three forms, Suyash has taken 10 wickets. To shed some light on his batting statistics in the other two formats, Suyash has scored 922 runs in 16 first-class matches at an impressive average of 43.90. This is a remarkable accomplishment. At the end of 28 innings, he has scored 653 runs in List-A competition, including four half-centuries.
Suyash Prabhudessai has not yet made his debut in the Indian Premier League. When the Indian Premier League Auction 2021 took place, the Royal Challengers Bangalore Team offered him his first contract in the Indian Premier League. At the initial fee of INR 20 lakh, the RCB franchise was able to secure its services. If Suyash is allowed to demonstrate his worth in the middle during the Indian Premier League 2021, he has the potential to be a very valuable addition to the team that is captained by Virat Kohli.

Suyash Prabhudessai, who was born in Goa, has been participating in domestic cricket for a considerable amount of time now. On the other hand, Suyash decided to improve his finishing abilities and concentrate more on his batting strike rate after the 2019 auction did not result in any sales transaction. During the last two seasons, he has accomplished several match-winning knocks for Goa. As a result of his continuous efforts, RCB has offered him a contract for this year.
A heartbreaking defeat by the Kolkata Knight Riders by one run put an end to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s dreams of making it to the postseason of the Indian Premier League. RCB has suffered their seventh loss in eight matches, and even if they were to win all of their remaining games, they would not be able to guarantee a berth in the playoffs. Even though they were attempting to chase 223 runs, RCB was unable to achieve their goal. Rajat Patidar (52) and Will Jacks (55) had been the driving force behind the team’s success with a partnership of more than 100 runs, but a dramatic collapse caused RCB to fall from 137-2 to 155-6.
Mitchell Starc was the opponent for Karn Sharma and Mohammed Siraj, who were at the crease because they needed 21 runs off the last over. While Starc was bowling his first four deliveries, Sharma injected excitement into the game by hitting three consecutive sixes. On the other hand, Sharma’s fall occurred on the second-to-last ball. Lockie Ferguson scored a run when there was just one ball left to play and three runs needed to be scored.
There is a video that has gone viral that demonstrates the umpiring error that may have caused RCB to lose the match. Suyash Prabhudessai, a batter for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, pulled Varun Chakaravarthy’s delivery for what seemed to be a six in the seventeenth over. The ball appeared to touch the boundary ropes. On the other hand, the on-field umpires ruled that it was a four without consulting with the third umpire, which disallowed RCB to score two runs.

Angry supporters of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) claim that this error altered the result of a tight match by the tiniest of margins, illustrating how a single dubious decision may determine the fate of a cricket match. It would seem that the franchise is aware of this as well. Take a look at the sketches that Mr. Nags (Danish Sait) has done or even the interviews that he has done with Virat Kohli to see how there is a culture of accepting misfortune with an honesty that is unique to the majority of other teams.
In addition, Suyash Prabhudessai has a sense of humor that is similar to that of the person in question. It illustrates how the Goan middle-order batter plus medium-pacer discusses the factors that are not within his control and how he manages pressure. In addition to this, he has the tenacity, flexibility, and killer instincts that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) would want to see in its players.
It was in 2022 that Prabhudessai made his debut in the Indian Premier League for the franchise. Even though he was playing for a losing team, he managed to score a remarkable 34 (18) from the sixth position against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Following a string of poor scores, he was removed from the lineup of batters who were having difficulty, but he began the year 2023 with another strong 19 in 11 innings against the same opponent. On the other hand, the team received a pink slip once again as a result of good knocks experienced during defeats and single-digit scores achieved during victories. Over time, however, his game for Goa has progressed to new heights.
Towards the close of the innings, Suyash Prabhudessai demonstrated innovative and improvisational skills with the bat, which provided glimpses of what he is capable of accomplishing in the Indian Premier League 2023. He is well-known for his ability to play in all directions and for his ability to score fast runs after the game. With a strike rate of 134.10 in Twenty20s, he would do his best to fulfill the burden of ending the innings for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Additionally, he is a capable medium pacer who can use his cutters in addition to various varieties. According to the T20s, he has an economy rate of 7.33.
