It’s Ryan. South African cricketer David Rickelton was born on July 11th, 1996. He is a member of the club. In the year 2022, on March 31st, he made his debut for the South African cricket team on the international stage. As a wicket-keeper hitter who bats left-handed, Rickelton is a member of the Gauteng and MI Cape Town teams in the domestic cricket competition. He played his first game for Gauteng in the first-class competition against Northern. The Nelson Mandela Bay Stars included him on their roster for the first season of the Twenty20 Global League, which took place in August 2017.
On September 1, 2017, he made his debut for Gauteng in the Twenty20 competition, which was part of the 2017 Africa T20 Cup. His inclusion in the Jozi Stars team roster for the first Mzansi Super League Twenty20 competition took place in October of 2018. He was designated as a member of the Jozi Stars side that would compete in the 2019 Mzansi Super League competition. This announcement was made in September of 2019.
The following month, he was selected to be a member of Gauteng’s team that would compete in the 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup. Rickelton was given the responsibility of leading the Imperial Lions in the 2021–22 CSA T20 Challenge. This announcement was made in February of 2022. During the year 2022, Rickelton signed a contract with Northamptonshire to compete in the County Championship for that particular year. He was selected to be a member of South Africa’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series that they were going to play against Pakistan in January 2021.

Ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa, he was selected for the Gauteng team in April of 2021 according to the announcement. Throughout their trip to Zimbabwe in May 2021, he was selected to be a member of the South Africa A cricket team’s squad to compete against the Zimbabwe A cricket team. Throughout the List A series, he amassed 224 runs, including a century, making him the player with the highest run total in the series. He was selected to be a member of South Africa’s One Day International (ODI) team for the series that they were going to play against the Netherlands in November of 2021.
Rickelton was included in South Africa’s Test team for the series against India, which was scheduled to take place the following month. Rickelton caused the Royals to incur a significant cost.
