The series was being played against England. In the second match of the series, which took place on February 2, 2024, he made his entrance into the world of test cricket. He scored 32 runs in the first innings and 9 runs in the second innings. With the introduction of the first Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) in June 2024, the state of Madhya Pradesh is going to be witness to the beginning of a new era in its cricketing scene.
With the promise of being a cradle for fostering and exhibiting the great cricketing talent that the state has to offer, this much-anticipated tournament will take place in the medieval city of Gwalior. Venkatesh Iyer, Avesh Khan, and Rajat Patidar are three of the most talented individuals from Madhya Pradesh who have already achieved substantial progress on the national cricket scene. Rajat Patidar, Venkatesh Iyer, and Avesh Khan are among the stars who are prepared to grace this magnificent stage.
Not only does their involvement in the National Premier League (MPL) raise the reputation of the event, but it also acts as a source of motivation for aspiring cricket players all around Rajasthan. There will be five competitive teams competing in the MPL, which will be controlled by the Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA). These teams are the Rewa Jaguars, the Jabalpur Lions, the Bhopal Leopards, the Malwa Panthers, and the Gwalior Cheetahs.
A stadium that promises to be an appropriate environment for the demonstration of cricketing skill, the Gwalior International Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur, will serve as the location for the clash between these sides. Rajat Patidar probably felt it on the first morning of the Rajkot Test, when he got on his toes to a perfectly good ball from Mark Wood – fifth-stump channel, reaching the batter just above stump height – and sent it racing to the cover boundary with a punch of crisp minimalism, all timing and no movements wasted. sixty-three runs, with an average of 10.5 runs per game.
In addition to being out twice to long hops, Patidar has also been out to decent balls, middled a defensive shot that rolled back into his stumps, and he has also been out to high balls. This is something that every batter will experience at some point in their careers, provided that they continue to play for a sufficient amount of time. It is something that Patidar has encountered in his first series.
