Following the conclusion of the match against Bangladesh on October 19, 2023, Hardik Pandya suffered an ankle injury that rendered him unable to participate in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. As a result, he was included in India’s team for the tournament on November 5, 2023. Prasidh Krishna, a fast bowler for India, is currently recuperating from an injury to his quadriceps that he sustained when the team was touring South Africa. He is working hard to improve his consistency and acquire a wider range of skills for the future.
After making his debut in India’s two-Test series in South Africa, Prasidh had a difficult time finding his rhythm in red-ball cricket, which resulted in his withdrawal from the England series that is now taking place. It was the last six balls of the Twenty20 International match between India and Australia that the Australians needed to score 21 runs. Following the delivery of the ball to Prasidh Krishna, a fast bowler who had previously conceded 45 runs in three overs, Captain Suryakumar Yadav handed the ball to Prasidh Krishna.
Krishna, on the other hand, was able to keep his previous over tight, allowing just six runs to be scored against him. However, Glenn Maxwell had a breakthrough in the last over, which completely altered the course of the game. The lanky fast bowler had a stress fracture in the previous year, which prevented him from participating in the lucrative league. However, he eventually returned to play cricket for India, and his last appearance for the team was in the New Year’s Test match against South Africa, which took place in Cape Town.
