After that, he was the recipient of selections to play for various levels of the India under-19 cricket team. In the four-day match that took place on July 17, 2018, he made his debut for India’s under-19 team against Sri Lanka. He scored 82 runs throughout the match. At the 2023 Indian Premier League match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians on April 2, 2023, he made his debut in the Twenty20 format for Mumbai Indians. He scored a fast-fire 21 runs off of 13 balls, including two sixes, in his first match, which was a very impressive performance. It was against the Chennai Super Kings on May 6, 2023, when he hit his first half-century in the Indian Premier League. In the Indian Premier League season, he scored 241 runs in 14 innings.
