A cricketer from Afghanistan, Najibullah Zadran was born on February 28, 1993. He now serves as the deputy captain of the Afghanistan Twenty20 International (T20I) team from Afghanistan. Zadran pitches right-arm off-breaks and bats left-handed. He bowlers right-arm off-breaks. In July 2012, he made his debut on the international stage. In the players’ draft that took place on June 3, 2018, Zadran was chosen to be a part of the Montreal Tigers team that will compete in the first-ever Global T20 Canada event.
He was selected to be a member of Kandahar’s team for the first competition of the Afghanistan Premier League, which took place in September 2018. According to the results of the draft for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League, he was selected to be a member of the Chittagong Vikings team the next month. Zadran found out in June 2019 that he would be participating in the 2019 Global T20 Canada event as a member of the Winnipeg Hawks franchise squad.
The Khulna Tigers, who will compete in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League, chose him to play for them in November of 2019. His inclusion in the St. Lucia Zouks roster for the Caribbean Premier League in 2020 came about in August of the same year. He took the position of Colin Ingram, who was unable to participate in the league owing to visa restrictions. During the rescheduled matches in the 2021 Pakistan Super League, Karachi Kings decided to sign Zadran so that he could participate in the contests.
His selection to play for the Dambulla Giants in the 2021 Lanka Premier League came about as a result of the players’ draft that took place in November of that year. During the Under-19 World Cup Qualifier that took place in Ireland in 2011, Zadran was a member of the Afghanistan Under-19 team. Within the context of the Faysal Bank Twenty-20 Cup, Zadran made his debut for the Afghan Cheetahs in the Twenty20 competition against Rawalpindi Rams. Additionally, he participated in that tournament by playing against Faisalabad Wolves and Multan Tigers on two separate occasions.

From his three outings, he scored 58 runs, with an average of 29.00 and a best score of 51 not out. His average was 29.00. When he dismissed Sohail Tanvir, he also claimed his first wicket in a match against Rawalpindi Rams, which was also the match in which he scored this score. The selection of Zadran as the captain of Afghanistan’s under-23 squad for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup took place in December 2018. At the same time that Gurbaz smashed four sixes and two fours, he reached his fifty-run mark in the ninth over, which was his first-ever fifty-run score in the Twenty20 World Cup.
