Jason Paul Behrendorff is a cricketer from Australia who was born on April 20th, 1990. He is presently listed with Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers in the Australian domestic cricket competition. The Mumbai Indians are his team, and they compete in both the Indian Premier League and the Major League Cricket. Even though Behrendorff was born in New South Wales, he spent his childhood in Canberra and went on to play cricket for the Australian Capital Territory at both the juvenile and senior levels.
He was a left-arm fast bowler who decided to relocate to Western Australia for the 2009–10 season. The following year, he made his debut at the state level, playing many matches as other fast bowlers suffered injuries. Since then, Behrendorff has established himself as a fixture for Western Australia, opening the bowling in three different competitions: the Sheffield Shield, the Matador BBQs One-Day Cup, and the Sheffield Shield.
It was during the 2012–13 season of the Big Bash League that he made his debut with the Perth Scorchers. He went on to be a member of the Scorchers squad who went on to win consecutive championships during the 2013–14 and 2014–15 baseball seasons. When he was playing for Western Australia in the 2010–11 Ryobi One-Day Cup, he made his List A debut against Tasmania at Hands Oval. He had begun his career in the Futures League, and his strong form enabled him to make his debut then.
In the contest, he finished with statistics of 1/18 from five overs, one of which was the dismissal of Mark Cosgrove with the first ball of Tasmania’s innings during the match. Because of injuries sustained by other fast bowlers, Behrendorff was able to play more often at the state level the following season. He made his debut in the Sheffield Shield against Victoria in November 2011, collecting four wickets and seventy-six runs. Having often contended with Nathan Coulter-Nile for a regular berth in the side, he concluded the 2011–12 season with 13 wickets from five Shield matches and five wickets from five Ryobi One-Day Cup matches. He also had a total of five wickets from five Ryobi One-Day Cup matches.

During the 2014–15 Basketball League season, Behrendorff was a part of the Scorchers squad which won their second straight championship. He played for the Scorchers throughout the season.
He got 15 wickets from 10 matches, which was tied with his teammate Yasir Arafat, and was second only to John Hastings of the Melbourne Stars, who took 16 wickets for the tournament.
