Having been born on May 3, 1990, James Lee Pattinson is a cricketer who hails from Australia. There is a perception that Pattinson is a quick bowler who is aggressive. Even though he had limited appearances owing to back issues, he played for the Australia national cricket team in both limited-overs and test cricket after making his debut in the sport of test cricket in the latter part of 2011.
Darren Pattinson, Pattinson’s older brother, was a member of the England cricket team and participated in one test match. During his childhood, Pattinson attended Haileybury (Melbourne), which is located in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. He made his debut in the first-class competition for the Victoria, and as a result, he garnered a contract with Nottinghamshire. Pattinson was a member of the Dandenong Cricket Club, which competed in the Victorian Premier Cricket. Additionally, he attended the Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia in 2008 and represented Australia.
Pattinson established a new record for the greatest bowling performance in a List A innings performance for Victoria on December 23, 2009. After hitting Daniel Hughes with the ball when he was following through during the 2021-22 Sheffield Shield season, Pattinson was given a one-match suspension for his actions. The One-Day International (ODI) squad that Australia would take to Bangladesh in April 2011 included Pattinson as a member of the team. As he made his first appearance in a One-Day International (ODI), he grabbed the wicket of Imrul Kayes in the third and final match of the series. Pattinson was a member of the Australian Test team that traveled to Sri Lanka in 2011, however, he did not participate in any of the matches.
On December 1, 2011, Pattinson made his debut in the Test match, which was part of the home series against New Zealand that took place in 2011/12. He was voted Man of the Series after taking fourteen wickets at an average of fourteen and a half throughout the two tests.
