Nepalese cricketer Dipendra Singh Airee was born on January 24, 2000, into a Khasa/Chhetri family. He is of indigenous descent and is from Nepal. When Nepal played the Netherlands in their very first One-Day International (ODI) match, which took place in August of 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers who participated in the match. In the Twenty20 Internationals competition that took place at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Airee achieved the quickest fifty in the history of the tournament, scoring it off of only nine balls.

In 2017, he served as the captain of the Nepal national under-19 team, which competed in the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup. After attaining one-day international status during the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, Nepal played its first one-day international matches that year. On July 29, 2018, he played his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, which was taking place against the Netherlands as part of the 2018 MCC Tri-Nation Series. The first one-day international match he played for Nepal was against the Netherlands on August 1, 2018. An announcement on Airee’s inclusion in Nepal’s team for the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier event was made in August of 2018.
Since October 2018, he has been a member of Nepal’s team that will compete in the Eastern sub-region group for the ICC World Twenty20 Asia Qualifier event that will take place in 2018–19. The announcement that he will be a part of Nepal’s team for the Regional Finals of the 2018–19 ICC Twenty20 World Cup Asia Qualifier competition came in June 2019. On November 6, 2019, he made his debut for Nepal in a first-class match against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), which was part of the MCC’s trip to its home country of Nepal.
He was designated as the vice-captain of Nepal’s team for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, which will be held in Bangladesh. This announcement was made later in the same month. He was also selected to be a member of Nepal’s team that will compete in the cricket event at the South Asian Games in 2019.
