He participated in three matches throughout the league.
Additionally, he was named to the India B cricket squad to compete in the Under-19 Challenger Cup. Following his departure from Rajasthan, the young fast bowler who is based in Bharatpur played for Nagaland during the previous winter season. Even though he did not have the best of times for the Plate team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he only took five wickets in six games, he was able to take ten wickets in the Ranji Trophy and fourteen wickets in the one-dayers.
Even while he would allow runs on occasion, the speed that he maintained amazed many people. He was capable of reaching speeds of 145 kilometers per hour and more regularly, and it is possible that it was this talent that gained him another Indian Premier League contract after two years, this time with CSK. A couple of years ago, the young fast bowler participated in the event and played a single match for Rajasthan Royals. He was among the players that participated in the tournament. Following his release from the Royals, none of the organizations had any interest in purchasing him during the auctions.
But it was a phone call from Deepak Chahar that completely altered his life. Because Mukesh Choudhary was out of action, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) required a young fast bowler. Chahar, who had known Akash from his formative years, suggested his name to the management of the Super Kings. After that, Akash was invited to go down to Chennai and participate in a few practice games before being selected.
The kid had a remarkable performance, as he obtained five wickets during six matches. As a result of Akash’s success in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) extended an invitation to him to become their guest player. On Thursday, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) announced that they would be providing the injured Mukesh Choudhary with a substitute in the form of the paceman Akash Singh for the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will begin on Friday.

“Mukesh, who made his IPL debut last season and scalped 16 wickets, is recovering from a stress fracture and hence, is sidelined from the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League,” according to an announcement from the organization.INR 20 lakh is the starting price for Akash, who would be joining Super Kings after the auction failed to sell him. Up to this point, he has participated in nine Twenty20 matches, during which he has taken seven wickets at an economy rate of 7.87.
Before assisting India Under-19s in finishing in second place at the World Cup in South Africa in 2020, he made his Twenty20 debut for Rajasthan in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2019. Ahead of the 2022-23 domestic season, he relocated from the state of Rajasthan to the state of Nagaland. The fact that they have several spinners of world-class caliber, such as Maheesh Theekshana, Moeen Ali, Mitchell Santner, and Ravindra Jadeja, amongst others, ought to make things simpler for the captain, MS Dhoni, during the middle overs of the match.
