During the match against Pakistan in 2007, Kenya’s Tanmay Mishra scored his maiden run after taking 16 balls to do so. This occurred during a quadrangular series. Erasmus of Namibia is the first batter in the history of Twenty20 Internationals to score more than one thousand runs. He holds the record for the most runs scored in a Twenty20 International. Erasmus indeed got off to a poor start, but, arguably, he was the most outstanding batter for Namibia on that particular day. As soon as his side lost the early wickets of Nikolaas Davin and Michael van Lingen, the right-handed batter succumbed to the strain that was beginning to build up.
Before Marcus Stoinis secured his wicket, Erasmus had hit 36 runs off of 43 balls, including four fours and a six. Furthermore, Erasmus was a member of a partnership with Jack Brassell that resulted in a total of 29 runs for the ninth wicket. Van Lingen was the only batter to reach double digits, with Erasmus being the only other batter to do so. Both Ben Shikongo and Bernard Scholtz were unable to successfully open their accounts. In addition, David Wiese, who is well-known for his powerful hitting, was unable to get going after he collapsed for one run off of seven balls.
