A cricketer from Ireland, Benjamin Charlie White was born on August 29, 1998. He is a British citizen. White received the news that he will be a member of Ireland’s team for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in January of 2016. In July 2021, White made his debut for the Ireland cricket team on the international stage. During February in the year 2021, White was put on the roster of the Ireland Wolves for their trip to Bangladesh.
It was White’s first time being called up to the team, and he expressed his excitement by declaring that he was “over the moon” to be chosen for the trip. Towards the end of the same month, White signed up to be a member of the Cricket Ireland Academy’s intake. On the 5th of March 2021, White made his debut in the List A competition, playing for Ireland Wolves against the Bangladesh Emerging squad. White received a preliminary selection for Ireland’s team to compete in the 2021 ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup in September of 2021. Additionally, White completed seventeen dismissals in seven matches during the 2021 Inter-Provincial Trophy, making him the top wicket-taker in the competition. White was selected to be a member of Ireland’s One-Day International (ODI) teams for their upcoming excursions to the United States of America and the West Indies in November of 2021.
White was included in Ireland’s Test squad for their tours of Bangladesh in March 2023 and Sri Lanka in April 2023, even though he has never played first-class cricket despite being selected for the team. The Twenty20 International and One-Day International teams for the trips were also named to include him. On April 4th, 2023, he played his first test match, which was against Bangladesh. His first One-Day International (ODI) match was against Nepal on June 19, 2023, during the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. The announcement that he will be a part of Ireland’s team for the 2024 ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup came in May of that year.

On Tuesday, Pakistan won the third Twenty20 International match against Ireland by a commanding six-wicket margin, so securing a 2-1 victory and securing the series for themselves. When the Men in Green decided to field first, they were able to limit the hosts to a score of 178 for seven. Shaheen Afridi bowled an outstanding four-over session, during which he only allowed 14 runs to be scored, and took three very important wickets. Imad Wasim also contributed by taking a wicket, and he did so while maintaining a low rate of run-scoring, allowing just 23 runs in his four overs quota.
Mohammad Rizwan (56 off 38) and Babar Azam (75 off 42) both had outstanding performances throughout Pakistan’s chase, which allowed them to successfully pursue the mark inside 17 overs. Although Ireland’s temporary captain, Lorcan Tucker, played a respectable innings, scoring 73 runs off of 41 balls, Pakistan’s triumph overshadowed his courageous performance. At the Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin, Babar demonstrated his command of the batting position by hitting four sixes in a single over.
In the fourteenth over of the innings, Babar showed his dominance from the very beginning by lofting the first ball over long-on to get his half-century.
