Ben Matthew Duckett is a cricketer from England who now represents Nottinghamshire National Cricket Team. He was born on October 17, 1994. As a batter, he bats left-handed and also can play wicket-keeping. His first appearance for England on the international stage came in October 2016. Duckett made his debut for Northamptonshire in the Friends Life Twenty20 match against Gloucestershire on July 8, 2012. At the time, he was in his first year of A-levels at Stowe School.
Not only did he manage to break the barrier of a thousand first-class runs in the season, but he also managed to achieve four centuries in the County Championship throughout the 2015 season. His total of 1002 runs at an average of 52.73 was just enough to breach the barrier. All things considered, Duckett had a very successful season in 2016. As part of an undefeated second wicket stand of 367 with Daniel Bell-Drummond, he hit 220 in the sixth match against Sri Lanka A. His total came off of only 131 balls.
