The surgeon who operated on the hand performed six sutures. It will be two days before we return to see him again. After that, we will have a better idea of how much time it will take for Shoriful to come back. It will take Shoriful a total of six days to recuperate before Bangladesh travels to Texas to play their first game of the season. He was one of the few bright moments for Bangladesh in the warm-up game, which they lost by 60 runs. He returned statistics of 1 for 26, and he was one of the few highlights for Bangladesh. If Shoriful is unable to play in their first game, the club will be without its frontline quicks. Taskin Ahmed is also rehabilitating from a side injury, therefore the squad will be without their players.
The initial swelling and later medical examination both showed that stitches were necessary between his palm and index finger. These stitches were needed. Because the medical staff has suggested that Shoriful would need at least a week to rehabilitate, it is very unlikely that he will be able to play in Bangladesh’s first game, which will take place on June 7 in Dallas against Sri Lanka. The squad has a significant challenge as a result of the absence of Shoriful, who is an essential component of the bowling lineup along with Tanzim Shakib, Taskin Ahmed, and Mustafizur Rahman.
