It is also the case that there are four clubs in a top-heavy league that have not yet won a single game. It is already a reflection of the discrepancy in income that exists among the clubs since the DPL of this season was believed to be one that had several teams with modest budgets.
After playing three games, Brothers Union, Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy, City Club, and Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club have all failed to win a single game respectively. On the first day of competition between the two freshly promoted teams, Partex Sporting Club emerged victorious against Gazi Tyres. During the first week of the match, Parvez Hossain Emon scored double hundreds. He began the competition with a dismissal against Shinepukur Cricket Club, which was a very easy dismissal, but he quickly improved his performance by scoring a career-high 151 against Brothers Union. Throughout his knock, which lasted 129 balls, he hit nine fours and eight sixes, and he also contributed 246 runs to the opening partnership with Shahadat Hossain.
The ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2024 is going to be one of the most exciting and competitive cricket tournaments ever, and the Bangladesh squad is going into the event with a mixture of optimism and caution. Throughout its history, Bangladesh has seen periods of exceptional performance, but it has often failed to maintain consistency in important events. This year, they want to make a huge mark on the international scene, and Najmul Hossain Shanto will serve as their leader from this point forward.

There is a combination of seasoned veterans and bright young talent on the team, which results in dynamics that are both interesting and surprising. As Bangladesh prepares to compete in the Twenty20 World Cup, the following is a complete team SWOT analysis of the Bangladeshi side. Bangladesh achieved their first victory in a Twenty20 international match in New Zealand on Wednesday when they defeated the host team by a score of five wickets in Napier.
Responding to New Zealand’s relatively low score of 134 for 9, Bangladesh easily won the match with eight balls still to spare. Litton Das, the opener, played a significant role in the chase by scoring 42 runs without being out from 36 balls. This came after Shoriful Islam, Mahedi Hasan, and Mustafizur Rahman had shown outstanding performance with the ball. After losing five wickets for 97 runs in the 15th over, Bangladesh was able to take home the victory thanks to Litton and Mahedi Hasan’s unbroken stand of 40 runs off 25 balls. This combination was the catalyst for Bangladesh’s victory. The undefeated Mahedi scored 19 runs off of 16 balls.
The win marks Bangladesh’s first against the Kiwis in New Zealand, and it comes at a site where Bangladesh had won their first one-day international against the same opponents on their soil the previous week. After Bangladesh had struggled, losing five wickets for 97 runs, Liton and Mahedi formed an unbroken partnership of 40 runs. This partnership lasted till the end of the match. When Bangladesh reached 73 for three in ten overs, they were chasing 134 runs that New Zealand had set up in the first Twenty20 International in Napier. Opener Rony Talukdar, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Soumya Sarkar all died while trying to score quick runs by Bangladesh.
