Odean Fabian Smith is a person who plays cricket for Jamaica. He was born on November 1st, 1996. It was in April of 2018 that he made his debut for the West Indies cricket team on the international stage. In the 2014–15 Regional Super50 event, which took place on January 16, 2015, Smith made his debut on the List A tier. The eighth of August, 2017, was the day when he made his debut in the Twenty20 format for Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League.
During the 2017–18 Regional Four-Day Competition, which took place on December 7, 2017, he made his debut for Jamaica in the first-class competition. During the Professional Cricket League draft that took place in May 2018, Smith was chosen to be a member of the Trinidad and Tobago national cricket team. In February of 2022, the Punjab Kings participated in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League competition and purchased him based on his performance. After participating in the Indian Premier League auction that took place on December 23, 2022, Gujarat Titans purchased him for the amount of INR 50 Lakh so that he may participate in the 2023 season of the IPL. The West Indies selected Smith to be a member of their Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series that they were going to play against Pakistan in March of 2018. The West Indies selected Smith to be a member of their One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) teams for the series that they were going to play against Pakistan in November of 2021. In December 2021, he was selected to be a member of the One-Day International team for the West Indies series against Ireland. On January 8, 2022, he played his first one-day international in a match for the West Indies against Ireland.
