Rasikh Salam Dar is a cricketer from India who was born on April 5, 2000. He now plays for Jammu and Kashmir in the Indian domestic cricket league and for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. The Mumbai Indians used the player auction that took place in December 2018 to acquire his services in preparation for the 2019 Indian Premier League. After being selected for the Indian Premier League, he became the third cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to be selected for the team.

On February 22, 2019, he made his debut for Jammu and Kashmir in the Twenty20 competition, which was part of the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Ahead of the Indian Premier League auction in 2020, the Mumbai Indians decided to release him. The Kolkata Knight Riders were the ones that purchased him during the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League season, which took place in February of that year. Rasikh Salam Dar, a pacer for DC, expressed his contentment with his performance with the ball during his team’s nail-biting win against MI in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, which took place on April 27 in New Delhi. The right-arm fast bowler, who is 24 years old, has been in some outstanding form recently, and he stood up for his team once again after DC defeated MI by ten runs on Tuesday. It was Rasikh’s 3/34 period, which featured the dismissals of MI captain Hardik Pandya, Nehal Wadhera, and Mohammed Nabi, that was the most important factor in DC’s victory. Rasikh came on as an impact substitute and played a significant part in the victory.
As the speedster continued his brilliant performance from DC’s last match against GT, in which he finished his session with the figures of 3/44, Rasikh was responsible for two consecutive three-wicket hauls. Because the franchise acquired the pacer at the Indian Premier League 2024 auction in December 2023 for a base price of Rs 20 lakh, the DC club has been able to incorporate him into their lineup with great success.
During his remarks at the post-match presentation, Rasikh reminisced on his successful stint while also providing insight into how he modified his bowling to the requirements of his franchise. Hardik was able to get MI back on track after they had slowed down a little bit after the powerplay took place. After hitting Axar Patel for a six off the last ball of the eighth over, he proceeded to score three fours and a six off Kuldeep Yadav in the ninth over on the next ball.
Tilak, who had been batting on an eight-run-per-ball basis up until that point, too joined in on the action by hitting a six and a four in the following over that Axar bowled. While MI was still trying to catch up, Rasikh, who had just entered the game as an Impact Player, pushed them even farther behind with a two-wicket over against. In the end, Hardik was able to fly a slower ball coming from the back of the hand to backward point, and Nehal Wadhera was able to direct a length delivery straight to Pant. After that, MI needed 117 runs from seven overs, and they had five wickets in their possession.
