The South African cricketer Marco Jansen was born on May 1, 2000. He is a member of the South African national cricket team and Sunrisers Eastern Cape, both of which compete in matches inside the country. At the beginning of his career, Jansen was the one who would open the batting. In a contest of twenty overs, he scored 164 runs without being out when he was just nine years old. On the 9th of April 2021, Jansen made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore. His first wicket in the Indian Premier League was Glenn Maxwell, which he grabbed in his four overs. He also took two wickets for a total of 28 runs.[13] [13] Towards the end of the same month, he was selected for the Eastern Province’s team, which was selected in preparation for the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa.
At the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League season, which took place in February 2022, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team purchased Jansen. The Washington Freedom chose Jansen to participate in the first-ever Major League Cricket tournament in the year 2023. This selection took place in May of that year.
