Born on September 23, 1999, Naveen-ul-Haq is a cricket player who made his debut for Afghanistan in September 2016. He has been playing for Afghanistan since 2016. The Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament, which took place on March 7, 2018, was the first-class tournament in which Naveen made his debut for Kabul Region. Naveen was selected to be a member of Nangarhar’s team for the first competition of the Afghanistan Premier League Tournament, which took place in September 2018.
The selection to play for the Sylhet Thunder in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League took place in November of 2019. Earlier than his first one-day international, he was a member of Afghanistan’s side that competed in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2016. During the upcoming Under-19 Asia Cup, which took place in December 2016, he served as the captain for Afghanistan. On January 19, 2017, Naveen made his debut for Afghanistan in the Twenty20 (T20) competition against Namibia. The match took place at the 2017 Desert T20 Challenge.
The selection of Naveen as the captain of Afghanistan’s team for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2018 took place in December 2017. Both teams enter the match with two points to their names; but, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have played one more game than London Saints Galaxy (LSG) in the existing season. After the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) reversed their first decision to refuse three players No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) due to a contractual issue, Naveen-ul-Haq has arrived in South Africa and will play for Durban’s Super Giants in the SA20 as scheduled.
